Went to Covent Garden today, needed to replace the ink for my printer. Heading home on the tube, through the Waterloo line I notice a woman playing on the violin.
That’s when it dawned on me.
How can one illustrate the soothing sound of a violin?
Believing that music is not given enough appreciation through the eye as much as it is given through the ear..
How can I, as an individual, turn sound into visual material?
And express the music heard through observational aspects, creating a visual language that will make us actually see the notes playing in our head, all by simply looking at a paper.
Longing to give music aesthetical gratification and value, my journey of discovery starts today.. -
